  • The number of internet users in urban India was 137 Million in October and is estimated to touch 141 Million by December 2013. Interestingly, rural India has witnessed a y-o-y growth of 58% of active Internet users since June 2012.

Ideal time to be idle ???

I gotta feeling these days, that I'm really stressed learning new technology advancements in search advertisements, analytics and what not....

At the same time I get feeling to just leave everything and relax....

Ideal day would be going for workout, almost for an hour, go for steam bath followed by jacuzzi. Next shall work on writing and creating specifications, for one of the products I have been long thinking about.
Within a month I should be ready with the complete wire frames specifications, and probably with mocks as we'll.

But problem is where to stop thinking about office work and still be more productive at work where my work is being more valued and probably appreciated. Seems like I am going on vicious circle or what they say catch 22 situation where everything remains in loop and nothing comes out.

Ufffff....

Flipkart Merchandising Issue

While browsing FK (flipkart.com) i found this issue on their site. Even after selecting filters for Men clothing, women clothes are visible.

This is just one of the issues i found on site, other is that even if you select Exclude out of stock filter out of stock products are still visible.

Seems like flipkart has decided to focus on backend systems rather than storefront design and layout.

I have bought from flipkart and their processes for delivery, tracking, refunds are pretty awesome i guess better than amazon.com

Any ways their new top navigation floating menu which is always visible even if user scrolls down is real helpful from UX perspective.
It also has search feature (newly added voice search too) which also aids user reach the product person is looking for.
